Our Mission.

Saving Land.

We’re protecting Florida’s water, wildlife, and wild places. We conserve natural and agricultural landscapes for future generations. Land conservation safeguards water, protects our native plants and animals, provides places to get outside and enjoy nature, adds to our strong economy, and so much more.

Conserving Florida.

As the demand and urgency grows to protect Florida’s irreplaceable wild and agricultural lands, we are ramping up our pace. We are now leading conservation projects on over 100,000 acres across Florida.

Protecting the Florida Wildlife Corridor.

We are a statewide land conservancy with a primary focus on connecting and protecting the Florida Wildlife Corridor, from Pensacola to the Florida Keys.

Protecting Our Paradise.

Our vision is a Florida where protected lands achieve the following goals:

  • Permanently connect and conserve a functional Florida Wildlife Corridor

  • Support healthy populations of native plants and wildlife

  • Provide places to recreate and connect with nature

  • Contribute to a strong economy

  • Support the success of working family farms and ranches

  • Replenish and safeguard Florida’s freshwater supply

Shaping Florida’s Conservation Future

Florida is one of the fastest growing states in the nation. Each year, the state loses 100,000 acres of natural and rural land. With this comes a greater demand for water and the development of rural and natural lands for urban use.

Protecting Our Paradise

Conservation Florida is an effective, energetic, collaborative organization working on your behalf to protect Florida’s land, water, wildlife, and way of life. We save land by facilitating, purchasing, or accepting donations of land and conservation easements, serving as a trusted community partner to support statewide land conservation, and through effective advocacy, education, and outreach programming.

WE ACHIEVE IMPACT.

We achieve this vision by:

providing expertise to guide landowners through the land protection process;

facilitating, purchasing, or accepting donations of land and conservation easements;

serving as a trusted community partner to support statewide land conservation;

promoting land conservation through effective advocacy and education;

and developing conservation strategies and exploring conservation funding sources.
