Florida’s next chapter will be written by you. Will you join us? Together, we can Protect Our Paradise.

We watch as our coasts and estuaries experience algal blooms that destroy entire ecosystems. We ache as panther after panther is struck down on our roads. We mourn the loss of green space as another piece of paradise is paved, and another ranch or forest is lost to rooftops.

Florida is the third-most populous state in the nation, growing by nearly 1,000 newcomers each day. We’re projected to exceed 30 million residents by 2060. With this comes a greater demand for water and the development of rural and natural lands for urban use. How we manage our natural resources – what we save and what we pave – will determine Florida’s conservation future and the future of Florida as a whole.

We must Protect Our Paradise.

OUR CORRIDOR

This once-thriving landscape is facing fragmentation and challenges, but you can still make a difference.

Our actions today can positively impact our water, wildlife, and overall quality of life. We can protect a functional Florida Wildlife Corridor!

Each one of us has a vital role to play in voicing our demand for protection of wildlife corridors. With dedication and perseverance, we can keep these pieces of paradise intact and thriving. The Corridor may have its challenges, but we are capable of overcoming them. Let's focus on what we can save and create a future that is sustainable and bright.

Because if the Corridor can’t be saved - we’ll have to ask ourselves - “what can be saved?”

 OUR WATER

Our water is a litmus test for how we are treating Florida.

Our waterways are unlike anything else on this earth, and it's up to each and every one of us to protect them. While it's true that water lets us know when we mess up, we're capable of making positive changes and protecting our precious waterways.

The key to success is teamwork - conservationists, politicians, storytellers, scientists, and everyday people like us all need to pitch in. By putting less waste into our water, saving vital recharge areas and critical lands, and advocating for protection measures, we can make a real difference.

With everyone doing their part, including you, we can ensure that our water remains a source of life, inspiration, and wonder for generations to come. We must band together to protect what makes Florida FLORIDA, our water. Are you with us?

 OUR LAND

We paved paradise, and put up a parking lot.

There's an undeniable magic to Florida’s land. But as we all know, we’ve paved paradise. Our land has been cleared, ditched, and paved over to make way for us.

But don't lose hope! There is still wildness left in our state- and it's up to us to keep it that way. Growth and development may be putting pressure on our remaining undeveloped land, but we know just how critical that land is to our quality of life.

So let's work together and protect what's left of our wild and agricultural lands. Let's show future generations that we were willing to stand up for what matters most - a future where nature and humanity thrive together. Who's with us?

 OUR GROWTH

We can balance economic prosperity and growth with safeguarding our environment if we prioritize strategic conservation— and plan.

The Sunshine State boasts stunning natural beauty and a thriving economy. However, the rapid sprawl we are witnessing poses a significant threat to our ecosystem and wildlife. Florida is a state with immense potential for growth and development. It is crucial that we approach this growth with thoughtful consideration for our natural resources. What we save—and what we pave— will determine the future of Florida. We must protect water, wildlife, and wild places as we grow to have a sustainable future. Thoughtful conservation and thoughtful development is key.

 OUR COAST

In Florida, you're never more than 60 miles from the nearest coast.

Florida's coasts and beaches are truly mesmerizing, boasting pristine stretches of sandy shores, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and an abundance of diverse marine life. These natural wonders not only provide a picturesque backdrop for endless recreational activities but also contribute significantly to our state's economy and overall well-being. As we immerse ourselves in the beauty of these coastal treasures, we must also recognize our responsibility to protect them. Let us come together, hand in hand, to safeguard these precious ecosystems for future generations. Through collective action, sustainable practices, and raising awareness, we can ensure that Florida's coasts and beaches remain unrivaled havens of natural splendor. Join the movement today and be part of the transformation towards a more conscious and caring society. Together, let's create a legacy of conservation.

“Our” means all of us. It’s their paradise, too.

Florida is rich in biodiversity and home to a vast array of wildlife. Species of birds, fish, and mammals, native plants…Florida's natural wonders are truly awe-inspiring. However, these delicate ecosystems are facing numerous threats, including habitat destruction. Now is the time to take action to ensure the long-term survival of Florida's unique and diverse wildlife. Through advocacy, education, and conservation efforts, we can make a difference and secure a vibrant future for both nature and people alike.

It's my hope that these stories resonate with Florida residents and visitors alike."

The docuseries shines a spotlight on the significant efforts of conservationists who are at the forefront of preserving Florida's natural wonders. Alongside showcasing the work of these conservationists throughout the state, the show will also emphasize the importance of Florida's land, water, wildlife, and the indispensable natural infrastructure that serves as Florida's lifeblood.
