The 2026 Sunshine State Soirée: Florida At NighT

The Sunshine State Soirée presented by Verizon is back on April 10, 2026!

At last year’s Soirée, you raised more than $220,000 to support our mission to protect Florida’s water, wildlife, and wild places.

And because every $1 you give to Conservation Florida is turned into $36 of wild Florida saved, that means over $8 million in conservation impact raised in one evening.

This year, we're aiming even higher, and we want you to be a part of it!

For our third-annual Soirée we've unveiled a brand-new theme:

FLORIDA AT NIGHT.

When the sun sets, Florida truly comes alive. Fireflies flicker, springs shimmer under the night sky, owls & frogs sing under the canopy, and panthers prowl just out of view. But these magic moments aren’t all that happen in Florida’s starlight hours:

Bioluminescence Shines

Did you know you can experience one of Earth's most otherworldly phenomena right here in the Sunshine State?

When the sun goes down and stars sparkle overhead, a few special waterways in Florida put on a light show of their own thanks to the unique glow of bioluminescent organisms.

Under a bright moon, there’s nothing quite like it. And at this year’s Soirée, you’ll have the chance to win a guided tour to experience this beautiful sight for yourself!

The Milky Way Appears

Away from city lights and under dark skies, our wild Florida places offer some of the clearest and most awe-inspiring stargazing east of the Mississippi.

On an especially clear night - and in the wildest of places – you may have the chance to see a stunning view of our galaxy’s stars and colors. You’ll have the opportunity to bid on an exclusive nighttime Everglades excursion during the Soirée auction – don't miss it!

The Locals Come Out

Our land conservation mission doesn’t just help us – it helps all the scaly, feathered, and furry ones we share our wonderful home with. From glowing alligator eyes in dark swamps, to the soft rustling of barred owl feathers in moonlit trees, to the sonar songs of native bats, Florida at night is a symphony of sounds and sights.

While many of the most amazing moments in wild Florida happen after us humans have turned in for the night, we can thank trusty trail cameras for capturing exciting moments – like this Florida panther traveling through permanently protected land!

Want to see some of these creatures for yourself? We’ll have a few wild visitors at this year’s Soirée - and you’ll have the chance to bid on unique experiences to visit them in their natural homes, too!

This Soirée will celebrate the true wildness of our home state once the sun sets - and the conservation work that protects it around the clock.

Real land. Real protection. A real future for our wildlife, waters, and way of life, from the ground we touch to the skies and stars above.

Purchase your tickets now and secure your spot at the Sunshine State Soirée.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, providing a unique chance to showcase your commitment to conservation.

Proceeds from the Sunshine State Soirée go directly back to Conservation Florida’s work to conserve Florida’s natural & agricultural lands — from Pensacola to the Florida Keys.
