Great Florida Backyard Bioblitz: LIVE with Chad Crawford!

IMG-1602.JPG

Conservation Florida and UF Thompson Earth Systems Institute’s Scientist in Every Florida School program are partnering to bring the Great Florida Backyard Bioblitz online! Together, we’ll explore the backyards and neighborhoods of some *very cool* Floridians through the use of Zoom and Facebook Live.

The live series was created for families with school-aged children. However, anyone can take part in the free webinars and Facebook Live events.

Join us on Thursday, April 23 at 3 p.m. for the second in this series.

Your hosts will be Traci Deen, Conservation Florida’s executive director. Brian Abramowitz and Stephanie Killingsworth, K-12 education and outreach coordinators for Scientist in Every Florida School will also be on hand to help field questions from participants. They’ll be joined by special guest Chad Crawford!

--
About our guest: As a native Floridian, Chad Crawford has always loved his home state, and he’s made it his mission to share it with the world. He’s often called Florida’s Ambassador for this very reason. Emmy award-winning how to Do florida with Chad Crawford began as a way to combine Chad’s passions – filmmaking, Florida, and literally anything outdoors – but has evolved into a passion project. Chad uses his platforms to create fans of Florida, but more importantly, he’s interested in creating advocates for Florida.

In addition to the live series, anyone can take part in the Great Florida Backyard Bioblitz!
